I totally enjoyed Elvis' talent and I thoroughly admired the faith he once exhibited, not to mention his patriotism in the American Trilogy, so please don't think this is saying the opposite.

He May Have Been

he may have been the king of rock and roll
of course, that’s not life’s greatest goal
and on him it surely took its toll
but always know ‘twas not a capital k

immortalizing someone is not the best
to focus on as greatest quest
for surely no one can past the test
and show us well the way.

There’s only one true King for me
He calmed the storm and stilled the sea;
He gave His life for you for me
and listens when we pray.

If we’ll rely on well-ground faith,
a tiny mustard seed, He saith,
the measure giv’n to illustrate
His light will guide our way.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Virginia, I understand completely what you're trying to say here, and I agree with you too. I never would say Elvis was a "hero", but just a wonderful inspiring person who gave so much for children especially but also so many! While he wasn't exactly a hero or the healthiest person, he did inspire so many American people, he gave so much in charity to the Kui Lee Cancer Fund and many other organizations, and was loyal to his loved ones and to his fans and served in the army for a while as well, and that is why I appreciate Elvis so much, as I also admire everyone who belives in Him and perserveres for His love. (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I wasn't sure what to expect as I started to read after you said it may be an unpopular opinion, Virgina, but I enjoyed the message your brought home through this. Well done.

Best wishes,
/Kit
