Silent Heart Oblivion

I long for the words
Instead they fade away
Empty heart shrouded
Blanketed in dismay

Silent heart oblivion
No one sees yearning
When holding my pen
Tossing and turning

Heartache rivulets
Tears flowing through
My lonely heart cries
Immersed into blue

Yearning each day
Wishing I could write
Embracing my muse
Where hearts unite

Absent are words
Submerged by ache
Is there a given time
To end heartbreak

a good read again, especially that grabbing, gripping last stanza!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Hope, I think the silence is one of the worst things...I'd rather see or hear anything but silence
