The Gift

he took
the blackness
of the night
chipped and
cut and edged
and carved
in the darkness
with his grace
perfection
when done
he lifted
my face
to see
his gift
there in
the velvet sky
I became
breathless
as he
gave me
the moon

Helen,  I wonder what we could do with such
a gift....lie on the ground,  looking up...
and dreaming...  Love your words...always
so soft and in tune...

Where did you find such a man?
