The Muse In her boudoir the muse prepares her charms and spells, her sweets and airs, tending mixtures and tinctures unique, rearing a rare, voiceful mystique. She sprays her form in rosey fume, blushes her cheeks to beamy bloom, composes her hair with styles bold nobled in gauze, that gauds uphold. Yet trying dresses faces fear of what looks right in the mirror. How strange a wardrobe, how lofty the fashions most artists fancy - the colours and combinations such wanting fits, tight creations. How shall one chose and should she start with such a critic in the heart? But a sudden regains her strength to see the finest made at length.
