that velvet sky, a dark sleet sheet
hung over the clothes line
in some gods rocky back moult,
a silky slough of indigo
with black backed lack

not to dry there but to wry
just an oblique of distraction,
from day and night's nude dance
of place trades begging for attention
on center stage of time splinter irony

bloodhorse riders, shape shift seamless
through wind's hollow fingers
strapped to iron steeds with drifter's chains
throttles clenched with poison thirst,
faster doesn't hurt as much as the ends

morning moves escape through drapes
ms sun shows her breasts swollen to feed,
ooze of warm for drench less breath,
a suffocate of velvet in smother mud blood
withdrawn from wind that folds the night,

and lays it offended over empty saddled day

.

Again, again, the imagery
leaves the amaze in gaze...

You sir, do have the road in you, it colors much of your work.

This one no less.

"bloodhorse riders, shape shift seamless
through wind's hollow fingers
strapped to iron steeds with drifter's chains
throttles clenched with poison thirst,
faster doesn't hurt as much as the ends"

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

Mmmm. Is that a good thing..? *s*

If it isn't, only you could make it still sound like something that should be whispered when dawn is still hours away and there is much left to explore...
