Lady In Red
~*~
The crisp clear frosty morn
sparkles the cool of Autumn flames
steaming from the night before
sunshine kindles
her.
And like the winged spindle tree
that flaunts her glory,
crisp snap of the her crimson leaves
cannot be crushed
like red velvet
no one can tame a lady in red

Oh Deb...this is SO beautiful..
But, as much as I love Autumn,
I don't want summer to be over just yet.
Beautiful write...just beautiful.

Your imagery was fantastic in this piece, I sure enjoyed it a lot.

The most valuable thing you own is a smile, wear it, and share it.

I don't think I'd ever want to tame a lady in red....I'd just as soon enjoy her beautiful spirit.....This is poetically mastered...well done!
