This is a short piece about my accident on the 29th of last month. It was and is an event that has placed my thoughts into life's realities and so now I attempt from here on, to build a better me. Hence, the title... "Character".

The tides that creates
life’s unforeseen ripe
when tickled by the moon’s
distant gesture of torridity
foreseen by dusk.
I’m left to the tired
night’s loveless tongue
and great God as my
only true savior.
Assaulted through and through
with bane so wicked it’s
unregistered by my swamped
brain, as it creeps back to
reality’s shouts.
Being driven on tarmac
blurred by pain, to a place
where all surrounds me
dressed in blood-stained whites.
Hours, days, weeks,
my life under construction,
the project; character.

A very vivid sense of atmosphere, powerful message and great visualisation.It's a wonder how this piece isn't flooded with responses.
