Kiss the orange glow of day's end
taste sweet tangerine sun & think of me
I am citrus wine & sweet brew
crushed berries in your tempered glass
open your precious gems
view the night sky
find my trail of light...
star lit stairs to my heart

enter & stay...

Will your arms remain folded resolutely
Across the dark expanse of your chest?
like a net over many waters?
I am a mermaid tangled & struggling
Against your barriers
Free me

Free us...

Above the glassy roof,
there are rainbows
Songs of colors yet to be sung
When will we know harmony again?
exchange daisies & share thoughts?
Look, the moon weeps her beauty
onto your face
I say my grace
A prayer for you & me

The sun greets the horizon with new
look for me on the shore
my basket is filled with the sweetest
sunny lemon drops
come,
harvest the day...

ah, romance and life all rolled into one

haven't read you in awhile, glad I came in, but my eyes would love it if you used a larger font size

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

thanks Virginia, I appreciate your taking the time to read my poem.  I'll remember to use a larger font when next I write...

Really liked this Tier,

An approachable and accessable weave of hope-long-doubt.

A beauty!

Most beautiful, Tier, but then,
whenever I come in to read you,
I know I shall always take away
a smile, and leave behind a sigh...

This is a sunburst beauty...wonderful employ of imagery and color to paint us this lovely poetic scene. Beautiful expressions.
very well done poetess Tier.

And if all the pain was confined ...
Would I be your salvation
could I make your spirit shine.
