Willie-boy silly boy was drunk as could be
He hardly could walk and barely could see,
Stumbling on down the sidewalk best he could
He wandered into the wrong neighborhood.

Lillie-girl silly girl was stoned so well
Walking was flying and she couldn’t tell
Turn a trick get a fix and fly some more
You did not have to think to be a whore

Millie-girl frilly girl was so proper
Driving into town just for a popper,
They keep her body trim and life style active,
Now the uppers were how she had to live.

Silly boy paused to relieve his too full bladder
Silly girl watched cause that did not matter
She chatted to him while he was midstream,
Frilly girl saw them and just had to scream.

Officer Sue was having a rough night
Heard the screaming and thought it was a fight,
Unluckily for Sue she wasn’t too far
Turned the corner and  ran into her car.

Frilly disheveled spilt her pills on the seat
Willie was still there watering the street
Officer Sue had to call in some back up
Having a tough time just keeping from crack up

All were arrested and taken downtown
Locked in cells making great protesting sound,
Officer Sue returned back to her beat
Just another night out on city streets

Thank you, Seymour Tabin,
A wise man then, glad you at least enjoyed
I have a nice bridge if you are interested

Thank you, Zinsser,
Just a little silliness spewing out,
Glad you liked it.

What's not to believe? but spare me the swamp deal...I think I've bought enough "mud" for one lifetime!

Truly tho, this is clever stuff here. I liked the sing-song children's rhyme feel of this that contrasts the loss of innocence you portray with your characters here. Like a perverse Dr. Seuss or something. Very clever work, you.

and no one believes the streets are like this? Odd...since I'm kind of a "Sue" myself, I will say that things are really just this silly out there. You gotta laugh at life, I guess. Yeah, I have a few stories, but only tell them in company of police officers...seems they are the only type of people that can relate.

Thank you, Serenity Blaze,
Suess Perverse,
I’ve been called worse,
Thank you, thank you for your time
In responding to my rhyme.

Thank you, passing shadows,
I agree this could have happened,
I’ve witnessed many a strange thing in the streets
On a hot summer night seems the sanity is fried away,
Pleased you enjoyed.

Thank you, Paul Wilson,
It’s amazing how few times the police do shoot,
I’d have to fight the temptation to ‘blow them away’ just for gross stupidly.
Glad you liked

Mother Goose doesn't have anything over you! *chuckle

I enjoyed the silliness.

When you think you have heard it all,
listen more closely.
