Ring, Ring, Ring
The morning bell sounds.
Over he turns,
the spell of sleep unbound.
At her he peers,
still out she be -
he’ll let her sleep,
for content she seems.
A smile to his face,
still she brings.
In love forever they will be,
two now one for all eternity.
He crawls out of bed,
to the closet he slips.
Hands now hold
his suit and his tie.
The water slowly pours
as the grogginess drains away.
He towels off, careful to be quiet.
Blade in hand,
shaving cream lathered.
The stubble comes off,
his face fresh once again.
Out comes the mousse,
in goes the comb.
A few splashes of cologne,
some swipes of the brush to his teeth.
Zips his pants, tightens his belt.
Buttons his shirt, slips on his suit.
The watch, the necklace,
a simple note of love.
A quick bite of this, a quick sip of that.
Another look at her, one step out that door.
The engine purrs
as he concurs:
life is good,
the days flow on.

(big hugggssssss) Oh dear, how could this ever get so far down without a reply, you need a nice boost back! (sigh) Your wisdom is beyond your years as I know while many thinks we cherish are just reminders there will always be a new dawn reflecting on! (sigh) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Daniel, thank you for sharing!
