Pauper's Pockets
~*Marge Tindal*~

I have dreamed a rich man's dreams
paid for out of pauper's pockets
Never wanted more than I had
except a friendship locket~
Then a loving friend,
came with gentle face
around my neck she hung the locket
in friendship's swing of grace~
Richly rewarding ~

Margie girl darling sister of my heart , how special is this? Well, I could lie and say I s’pose it’ll do, you know of course that it does much more than just do, it is extraordinarily good writing. Your metaphor, your line and style each perfectly formed to make a superb whole. You ALWAYS surpass my expectations of your writing, I roll up to your poem, sit down beside and I’m prepared to be delighted, and what happens? I’ll tell you what, I’m always bowled over by the mastery and the magic you weave into your words.

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Hi Ya Sis

Yep, it's me again...  Thought I'd let you know I stop by Passions... from time to time.

Dale

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

*Friends~
It's a true story ... and her name is Bonnie~
And the 'locket' was *gift-given* to me so very long ago .... but sits in the jewel box of precious treasures still today~

It will be passed on to my granddaughter, Delaney ... with the reverent hope that she embraces a friendship as precious as Bonnie has given to me~

More importantly ... we still wear the friendship that was fostered in college days ... she has always been 'friendship's swing of grace'~

***Thank you ALL sooooooo much~

Marge-
I'm just smiling and loving this one.
This is such a special write and it's got
me all choked up.  That kind of friendship
is priceless.   You do KNOW just how much
I love you, don't you?...a WHOLE BUNCH!
Love and BIG HUGS,
~Vicky
