Beneath the starlit sky
Is where two lovers swoon
Their spirits rise together
Attempting to reach the moon

The fireflies are many
As they dance throughout the night
Studded diamonds pierce the air
As they flash their golden light

Two souls have been united
As two hearts now beat as one
They'll remain in love's embrace
'til the rising of the sun

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Such a romantic lovely evening. I will be looking for the moon over New England and hoping for the same romantic night.

I enjoyed this so much Sue.  Your poetry gets better with each poem you write.
