"Autumnal Bliss"

Staggering,
a slow winds keep,
flooding my mind,
of swirling vines,
the pumpkin patch reaps.

A soft chill,
a creative glint,
dancing gold from green,
dead branches,
a flame,
smoldering.

The creeping,
the crawling,
the chirping,
gone, sleeping, dead, decaying,
my deep sleep,
finally,
I'm craving.

Dimming light,
the early sighs,
darkened comfort,
nocturnal delight,
a time to roam,
or nearly fly,
to the moon above,
autumn skies.

Shadow's taunt,
a child risen,
warm gloves,
hats,
keep wrapped,
closer growing, glowing orange,
creeping indecision.

Raining sweet,
a cloud in chocolate,
wide eyes peek,
through rising steam,
seeing the leaves,
friendly teetering,
around an aged,
lonely,
yawning tree.

I think everyone would relate to this
back in school
halloween's coming
dark so early
cool outside
leaf raking
liked this a lot
