A Last(ing) Note

will you miss me when, the morrow comes
and silence you will hear
when words from lips, that use to touch
have all but disappear
when mornings freshness spreads its dew
excluding thoughts of mine
will   you   miss   the   presence   of
the words I put to rhyme.

will you miss the being, shared with me
when hidden I become
a faceless me,  anonymous
behind the walls' succumb
will you ever think what could have been
if only would come true
will   you   miss   the   moments   of
my times of past with you.

I will miss the sweetness, of your kiss
a taste that serves desire
the imperfect times, that brought me laughs
and into love's transpire
each time I pass those places where
we once were hand in hand
thoughts   will   wish   the   memories   fade
on lips where kisses land.

I will miss forever, touches of
the comfort you allow
when placing arms upon my own
or brushing hair from brow
I will always hold you here inside
next to this heart of mine
but forevers  were  a  dream,  a  wish
a never been, define.

And so I ask of you this once
will lips of mine taste yours
will all these  words I  pen for you
be placed behind closed drawers
will once again, my heart be shown
the empty pulse of time
remembering   the   once   upons
forever lost in rhyme.

a bit of melancholy here, yet, surely the answer is yes

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Maureen darling heart, this is so special because YOU wrote it and all your writing is extra special, your heart is so totally beautiful and it simply spills out onto the page I love it utterly.

Your writing is always 100% beautifully presented, the rhyme is beautiful, the flow is exquisite and as for the author you know I adore you don’t you? Mmmm of course you do.

Maureen this is wonderful and I love it utterly utterly utterly

Love and warm stuff

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Maureen, my heart goes out to you and the yearning you feel, and perhaps it may not be a yes, but know there will always be special lasting impressions just as I know again a note will begin and your heart will strike a new chorus of hope again! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
