Crashing through the iceburg of your heart
comes a ship
larger than the Titanic
making you shiver and shake inside

there is only half a lifeboat in your heart
taking away each breath so desperately
a love of life
sweeps from your tear filled eyes

i can take your pain away
built upon a stoney ground
my heart filled with sweetness
to give all around

don't let your shipyard
get ship wrecked
let me soothe your heart
let me be your crying ground

I'm guessing, but I think I'm pretty close, the 'encouraging voice' in this piece is the Supreme Lighthouse, the One who heals, loves and guides, right?

My second guess is that it's another person who cares and is offering a shoulder and a listening ear.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

perhaps a repost is in order friend
so it'll have a chance before the end

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
