What Is the Difference (in Soul Mate & Love ?)

What's the difference ?

I am tryingso hard, to get this straight,
But my mind, is so very confused.
Aren't two soul mates, considered as one,
Their hearts, forever fused?

Aren't they suppose, to have something unique?
Something, no one else can share?
Aren't they a part of each other, in a way
that is considered most rare?

What is the difference in soul mates and love?
I thought they, were the one and the same.
I thought that love, was the ruler of all,
But a soul mate, seems to put love to shame.

After meeting your soul mate,
Don't you believe, that's where you should be?
In their arms, is where you belong,
because your heart, will never be free?

Who could ever, compete with a soul mate?
No one could, accomplish this feat.
Hands down, the soul mate will always win,
and love will always be beat!

You see, I'm confused about the real truth.
Is there a difference, that I just can't see?
Are soul mates and love really different?
They both seem the same to me....???

If you can't make it so,
you need to let it go!

(big hugggssssss) Oh Kitty, I can understand your debate here, I believe that love is in everything in all of life and we can love outside of the soulmate idea to all our friends and those we cherish, whereas a soulmate's love is more deeper, it's more like fondness, where fondness is what love is called in an extenuate timelss way, in other words you have to love your soulmate more because you have much more trust and tie than you do with the others around you! (sigh) I hope what I said made any sense, this is an excellent argument I know would spark many different ideas, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kitty, thank you for sharing!
