He Writes She Writes
A duet by myself

He writes, writes words of spinning glee
That twirl and dance in the air magically
I follow the flow of his mind’s pen
Running and tripping dancing and then
His words catch me in thoughts embrace
And I’m off on a verbal kiss chase
Each word he places flows through me
Leaving me enthralled in ecstasy

She writes and her pen spills such light
That touches the page with her clear sight
And I caught in a net of bliss
Spin out wonder I’m blessed by its kiss
Weft of truth and warp of heart’s light
Made this fine gown that I’ll wear tonight
Each stitch in it shows her true soul
Each word pure magic that makes it whole

He writes and I follow his song
Like the pied piper he leads me on
Words dancing in colours of true
Fill me with love’s hope that’s born anew
Dancing with words I let them flow
In oceans of Yes and seas of Oh
My spirit is lifted up like this
I am renewed by his poet’s kiss

She writes and the sky shines her light
Weaving words in colours boldly bright
I’m spun by the gold of her voice
Respond with my soul I have no choice
He writes tracing the Oh of me
While she writes the song that sets me free
Each word is a piece of my soul
And in their writing I’m shown my role

He writes that’s what he does writes grace
She writes the words that hold my soul’s trace

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Oh what a great idea, Marsha...
a duet with yourself.  They say that everyone has 2 sides to their personality...
I really loved the poem...
you did it beautifully.

Had to laugh at the byline...a duet with yourself!  How clever you are...how much fun the poets shall know when they attempt to hold your glow!

MarshaLove~

And when the duet
holds the pen of you
We are gifted with
thoughts of two~

Flow of ink from within
spills beyond the pages blue
Gathering the hearts
of more than just a few~

He/She ... She/He
blending perfection's ink of you
I don't care how you duet ...
just do~

*Ya' know ... you hold our hearts in your hands~
LOVE YOU~
*Hugs*

Each word is a piece of my soul

What an apt description... is it any wonder we become addicted? *S* This is a beautiful tribute, Marsha... and the use of a self-duet is very creative and effective. *S* I like this very much. *S*

She side of me, here.

If you read the story I've written with someone so far you'll see why I adore this.

Oh Marsha, this was just beautiful.  Your words are always so welcome as they grace these pages of powder blue.  Your heart and soul shine in this very moving tribute as your words flowed like a tranquil stream.

Take care......Sue
