HAVE YOU GOT A MINUTE ?

Have you got a minute?
There are somethings I'd like to say.
I need to tell someone,
what's on my mind today.

First of all, it's a secret.
Nobody can know but you.
It's about someone I care about,
and I don't know what to do.

I need someone to advise me,
and not make me feel so bad.
I've fallen for someone that's not mine,
and it's making me sad.

Should I continue my friendship?
Or should I try to let him go?
I don't have any answers,
and I thought, that you might know.

I try not to think about him.
I try to fill, my time in some way.
But nothing I do seems to help.
Is there something that you can say?

Well, I didn't think you could help me.
But thanks, for giving me your time.
And please, don't say anything.
It can't be known, because he is not mine.

Now I have told you, just how I feel,
and what I've kept bottled up inside.
It felt good to talk for a minute,
about these feelings, that I have to hide.

I guess, there really are no answers,
to the position, I've found myself in.
It was so nice, you took time to listen,
to how I felt, about my best friend.

This secret that I've shared with you.
won't ever again be revealed.
All of my emotions, both good and bad,
will stay in my heart...concealed.

If you can't make it so,
you need to let it go!
