Where have you been all these years?
She says to me as she thinks.
Hiding behind tears and fears?
Or where the owl and wolf drinks

Why won’t you say how you feel
When you are silent and in that cave
Is it too much, too sad and real
You never rant,you never rave.

Walking is where I am and have been
Across a land of wilderness wide
Counting the large number of sins
Things that I would rather just hide.

But,you are forgiven, can’t you see
That it all is just a part of your past
You are now driven, by guilt to be
The one thing that seems to last.

Guilt,she says,surely not so
I cannot imagine it still is there
How could she ever really know
Oh dear Lord,I truly must share.

Come to me, my poetic friend
And share with me your thought
Stay a while, a while and then
Share with me what has been wrought

For you are measured for who you are
And no longer for who you have been
Cast away that guilt so very far
For you have been forgiven the sins.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Barry, this touched my heart as so many of your poems do, I felt when I was a child I was an evil spirit because I was abused all the time and that if I could never find a friend I don't deserve to live, and while those that hurt me still haunt me I have turned Catholic and turned to Him to understand the meaning of faith and I have the heart to forgive them all as they have only made me stronger and I respect they too faced their own demons! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, you speak of purre wisdom, we all love you so much! You have such a beauitufl heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
