He sits alone in silence
As he views the world beyond
Everything would be just perfect
If he had a magic wand

He stares out his lonely window
As a seagull passes by
How much easier life would be
If he had some wings to fly

He contemplates his future
Wonders what life holds in store
He feels so disillusioned
While he searches his soul's core

He'll pursue his search of self
As he wanders down life's road
When he finds his guiding light
He'll unburden his heavy load

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
- Shawn Mullins

(big hugggssssss) Oh Sue, I cried reading this because this reflects my early life so very well, almost exactly! (sigh) Knowing that I have escaped the worst of this lonely feeling of bereavement I know it only takes  alittle hope for all children to emerge and be stars! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have suchn a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sue....this could be a "she" as well as a
"he"....

Sometimes this is what we do.....search for
that place that feels right...inside...

Excellently penned my friend...

Beautifully written, Sue...
We all need to search for our life's core and to find our true selves.
When we do that, burdens are lifted from our shoulders.

I agree with Magnus Sue.....sometimes we're frail and searching for the right place inside!   Great writing!
