Paula Rose

The years have come to fill a decade full
I cherish not the coming of its end
These memories remembered take their toll
New love that buds declines like fashion trends
You were the one that gave my words their soul
To germinate within a lonely seed
A kiss, a touch, in baited breath they’d grow
To live to give the romance life you see
I’ve often wondered where the years have gone
The swiftness of the wind propels my life
I feel the touch of you in every song
And whisper soft your name in waning light
You are the one my heart will not let go
And I wont ever kiss you Paula Rose

Your rose of suppose has inspired a bittersweet beauty P-man...Sonnets suit your melancholy pen of angst so well. You've got some lovely poetic phrases to define your conflict and your closing resolve's impact is the perfect aching ending.
Good to read your rhymes again

Noah .... thank you.

Magnus, well not really hiding... muse is hiding.

Kit.... thank you. Maybe if I could inspire my muse some more...

Goodnight, thank you very much.

ethome, yes to the very end.

Hey Browneye's, yes she is the Rose of all those writes. I draw from her when nothing else wants to write. I need to visit that arch.

You are the best Sonnet writer I know.  Sonnets are beyond a doubt, your special talent.
