Him, and Mrs. Jones

seems hard to believe
bang ~ those slow words again
bringing back his face again
                       seems so hard, believing

one put me in my vulnerable
strained by strains of infidelity
then his best friend came to me
                       found me in exposé

he bent the balance
of the chalice
whispering Mrs. Jones
he silked the skin
that I was in
                       whispering Mrs. Jones

him and Mrs. Jones

he danced me ‘round
to those tender sounds
the ache was there
vulnerability rare
him, and Mrs. Jones

there was no promise
on either part
though he said he’d
massage my heart
I could have fallen
a whim on edge
but I only teetered
on the ledge

him and Mrs. Jones…

and what’s gone past
these achesome years
I wonder where he is…

if some nightclub
still strains the strains
if he’s still whispering

Me and Mrs, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones MrsJonesmissusjones…

if there’s still a thing….
going on…

Oh Deca!  Doin' the slow sizzle dance today, are we?
Perfectly penned and so full of many thoughts.
Nice to 'see' you again.

Reminds me of an old song."Me and Mrs.Jones".The second line says "We got a thing going on".

Oh the yearning ache of remember
and so much more displayed within
the soft and sensual touch of
your words....

Nicely written Deca....your fire
always burns.....

(smiles) Yay!!! Yes, this is soooooo beautiful and filled with a deep yearning and nostalgia, sweet friend, this reminded me of Counting Crows hit "Mr. Jones"! (kiss on cheek) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
