Years will weather.
The pros are on the con.
Here spins the soul of the tale,
The man never speaks.
Somewhere is the making of love.
Out in the action the world is turning round,
Some are cruel and some are gentle,
Some never tell it right.
And the dreams of the past still stay uncorrected,
And you're left out in the night.

You get high on believing,
Good times are all you're needin
But, you're just hiding your fright.

That you're satisfied with leavin
With the woman of the night.

It's wait and wait and wait for her,
It's all the change you ever get.
All the drunked up hours,
And the sold out bar rooms,
Where is love enrolled in this.
So you charm yourself,
Disarm yourself,
But there's nothing you ain't done,
Cause a man with sad eyes raped
Can steal from anyone,
That's not out on the run.

Your main feats are'nt wild feats,
There's people wantin time,
Youth to man it's come too fast,
Where is there one to last.
You've seen all you need to see,
And it's come up too soon,
Wish you had more room,
And there's nothin you ain't done,
Cause a man that's seen love faked,
Can play the lovin game
Hopin true love comes his way.
