Unmentionables
By: Noah Eaton
8/5/02

Silver spoon
Stirring Colombian coffee
Effortlessly reading the headlines
When I know todays top story
How lucky I am to have a lover
Just like you
Free of logarithms and Bernoulli's Law
But rather filled with free-flowing youth

Love, you keep me drifting
Like a queens lacewing on a sultry July evening
I can get to the end of this tunnel
Just feeling your warm light
You keep me drifting
In duple time habanera
And eventually I melt into your eyes

Sometimes I swear I taste your ginseng
It gets me going in the morning
I'd love to show you how I feel inside
Bereaved as I can be
God knows you always have to start somewhere
I'm bestowed to your grace
Sometimes I feel I can swoop your sighs in a butterfly net
Encase them in amber and captivate them lovingly
Which rock me off to sleep like a berceuse to a full moon
Lost in your loves sweet feeling

Click your heels and count to three
Home is where the heart is, isn't that where you want to be?
I'm a koala for your love
Shaking my tree, dreaming of suckling your sweet kiss happily
You wear unmentionables so well
To me you are more than mentionable
Is it better to be mentionable than everything
Being mentionable to you is everything I need...

Love, you keep me drifting
Like a queens lacewing on a sultry July evening
I can get to the end of this tunnel
Just feeling your warm light
You keep me drifting
In duple time habanera
And eventually I melt into your eyes

Sometimes I swear I taste your ginseng
It gets me going in the morning
I'd love to show you how I feel inside
Bereaved as I can be
God knows you always have to start somewhere
I'm bestowed to your grace
Sometimes I feel I can swoop your sighs in a butterfly net
Encase them in amber and captivate them lovingly
Which rock me off to sleep like a berceuse to a full moon
Lost in your loves sweet feeling...

Your kisses are like neon honeybees
Showering like star showers in the afternoon
You laugh like a nightingale in insomnia
Coming to sing to my heart 24/7
I'm moonstruck, wearing Van Gogh robes
Staring out into the sunrise on the great divide
To your ever elusive angel sighs
There's a sestina somewhere in there
I know I can write...

Love, you keep me drifting
Like a queens lacewing on a sultry July evening
I can get to the end of this tunnel
Just feeling your warm light
You keep me drifting
In duple time habanera
And eventually I melt into your eyes

Sometimes I swear I taste your ginseng
It gets me going in the morning
I'd love to show you how I feel inside
Bereaved as I can be
God knows you always have to start somewhere
I'm bestowed to your grace
Sometimes I feel I can swoop your sighs in a butterfly net
Encase them in amber and captivate them lovingly
Which rock me off to sleep like a berceuse to a full moon
Lost in your loves sweet feeling...

You wear unmentionables so well
To me you are more than mentionable
Is it better to be mentionable than everything
Being mentionable to you is everything I need...

this is the flit of aye-lashes
the lilt of a seductive voice
the shudder of recoil from heart arrows
the tidal washing of sea against bows
a laundry list of reasons
why
love is in both of your hearts

You have some phrases here I am definitely going to unabashedly steal!

Well done, my friend

'...You have some phrases here I am definitely going to unabashedly steal!...'

Can I do this too? Hmmm...is that legal?
Maybe if you say you're going to steal, then you can steal cause it's not really stealing! WOW! Someone needs to look into this - you could be onto something here.

Noah,
You have a way of thickening the feeling with sugar until the nectar reaches optimum sweet. Beautiful. ThisDiamond
