When Life Was Something

Silver waters from the reflection of a silver moon
It was trimmed in midnight blue and deep in it's shade
And, every time the wind would blow whispers of hope
The waters would ripple in a shimmering display...

Grasses grew in the shape of hourglasses in the fields
And, would fall like the sands do in a matter of time
And, every time they'd lean to grace the tips of the earth
They'd gain their strength, once again, to climb...

Trees didn't come in numerous colors of green
Rather, they stood in satin auburn tones
Only those trees found a beat not even the pines could find
And, the leaves melted like ice when they reached below...

Rain crystallized like diamonds right in the palms of your hand
Light and clear for miles to be found
And, if it should happen to rain beneath that silver moon
Then moon beams in sequence would intensify the grounds...

The sun never hung in that typical spot in the sky
It was always there right along your side
It was pink that blessed the clouds and this view
And, riding those rainbows was so easily to do...

The stars dangled in the manor of a summers eve
And, not a one was too far to touch with ease
Oh, they were warm to the touch but lit more then the night
They gave way to swing from each one with all their light...

All this and much more before sadness was found
And, now I'm back to this ordinary ground
All this when life was something worth living to it's extreme
When sacred was so confidently seen...

(big hugggssssss) Oh Saunni, I agree, life has indeed gotten so much more uglier and cruel, but even if that's true know that much of this beauty still exists and by feeling it with your heart is the true way to captivate it! (kiss on cheek) Keep your spirits up and know there is still much beauty to behold, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Saunni, thank you for sharing!

May love and light awlays shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

This is an exquisite piece of work, Saunni.
