sunlight filters
       through a myopic lens
     casting the world as a
            convex impression
ocular harmonies
         blended by rods
                          and cones
make the spectrum sing
              in retinal halls
where the vitreous
       humor one another
              with focused tales

Sven,
If I could have read this I would have enjoyed it.

thanks everyone. . .

I was thinking about eyes, and sunlight. . . and looking. . . and the parts of the eye came into my mind. . . and the words just came. . . glad that you enjoyed it. . .

hmm..all this labor digging your poetry out from beneath the piles deserves a reward, eh Sven Pen?

Ahh...I suppose enjoying your work is rewarding enough. Just why the hell are you at the bottom these days? Dontcha hate it when ya get ignored because you're not around as much?

I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.

fascinating play with language...what catalinamoon said, too!
