I have nothing new to share today
it seems my muse has gone away
and taken every thought I'd had
I hate it when he behaves so bad
hiding in some darkened corner
or maybe he's gone out to dinner
or to see a movie, or a play
all I know is , he's gone away
and left me too little to say.....
I miss my muse on days like this
when I make rhymes that make no sense

Listening to every heart

but it does make sense
to mourn the loss
of just one day
with words at cost
when treasures seek
to find the way
into the pockets
though they be frayed...

carry me a pocketful
of poems of my poet friends
carry me a pocketful
of thoughts that find a way to mend...
