IMPRISONED

Today

my sad thoughts

keep me imprisoned

I won’t fightthe pain

of missing you

Today

I let my tears

flow freely

I will be strong again

tomorrow

Oh, my, oh, my, oh, my.

As if spoken by Scarlet O'Hara.

Well done melancholy.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
