What will I do?
Should I go to you?
What need I to do?
Should I sit and stew?

You've gotten me thinking,
you have me brooding.
You have me wanting,
you have me craving.

Out of nowhere,
truly, I swear,
together we face this bear
needing each other's care.

I smile when I see,
you simply be.
I would sit in a tree
and watch you be.

No, no, more!
A soundtrack to the score.
Of myself I would pour
to keep you from being sore.

We carry our weight
while we wait.
We wait for our mate
while we carry this weight.

Timing is everything
a delicate thing,
and precious thing,
and wearisome thing.

Our future together,
what could be better?
As one might be better.
Though, truly better?

We wait for leading,
we cry out pleading,
we cry out needing,
while we wait for leading.

Rest, my dear.
Be of good cheer!
Together, my dear,
yes, together,
yes, you are dear.

There was no broken record here, it was a delightful piece.
