Perfect Poetic Posturing ~*Grandma Marge*~  Oh my gosh ... this is so hard I try my best ... I do - I really do ! Little Leaning Tower Of Delaney Oh, how we love you~  Now just look at me ... that wasn't so hard at all ... Things look so different from up here and I feel soooooooo tall~  Oh, why can't I remember How I did it just yesterday ... Grandma is coming over and I want to hear her say ...  Awwwwwwwwww ! That's my little poetic princess~ ~*~ Now she's big enough to hold Grandma's pen~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Proudly guilty as charged~  MartieSis~ You will appreciate this story ... Today I treated my daughter to lunch and we were joined by Delaney and her parents~ A couple of ladies came and sat at the table next to us .. I paid them little mind until we got up to leave ... and I heard one lady say to another one .... "I know that baby ... that's Delaney !" Well ... I looked and saw a high school friend ... who did had not recognized me ... and I had not recognized her earlier ... but ... because I had e-mailed her the poem ... SHE RECOGNIZED Delaney !!!!!! If you could have seen the look on my family's faces ... it was priceless~ Our little Delaney is Internet famous !  Made our day for sure ! Titia~ Delaney's parents had LOTS of new photos with them today .... they promised to make sure I had plenty to share in Tampa ! Paul~ Thank you ... and congratulations on yours too~ BettyLou~ She sure warms our hearts~ Thank you sweetie~ GreenEyes~ Thanks gal ... Little Miss Delaney congratulations! Auntie Marti is so proud of you ~ there you are sitting up like such a big girl. And looking just as cute as a button with that precious smile of yours. Mommy and Daddy and Grandma Marge are beaming with pride and joy. If you think they're making a fuss now, just wait till you take your first step. Oh boy!
