The Loop

Without vision or reason,
it’s easy to point to fate,
there is no real clarity —
why I circle you.

Others come, pass
into sepia memory;
a chain, a tender shackle,
brings me back to you.

Another cycle, we spin,
ignoring sizeable snags,
oblivious to the trouble
the loop might bring.

We hold this orb up,
turn it with moist palms
as if a prize waits inside,
coming round to claim us.

(big hugggsssssss) Yay, oh Corinne, lately I have felt a great sense of gravity and down-to-earthness in your wonderful poems packed with true wisdom and heart, I love it! Yes, when it feels like something is hopeless and it never stops revolving around us, joy is inevitable and will come to us as we keep spinning on the axis of life, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

My favorite line.

Amazing how some things seem to come full
circle back before us...and we wait...

Corinne

I love the way you snag a thought...and wrap it up so perfectly...makes me just shake my head...and say ahhhh.
