One measured heartbeat
One-half cup of rhyme
Stirred in perfect meter
of syncopated time~

Whipping flavored verses
while kneading words sublime
Hoping that the recipe
has all the ingredients divine~

Turning on poetic oven
Warmed with poet's ink
When turned out it reads well-done ...
I think~

For me I'd add the sweetener,
no artifical kind,
top it off with friendship's kiss,
a mood swing lighter rhyme.

Removing all the bitter
make tasting, senses fill
to sample each, consume, digest
to satisfy with quill~~~

loved your recipe it lightened my mood

Oh them bachelors are all the same
Don't need no recipe ...
Serve it hot ... serve it cold
all the same you see~

A little cheese is fine ...
but don't serve me no meat
Cause if I was really 'hungry' ... and I am
