somebody's dungeon

It's been beaten and abused
by the weather it's been used
the wind of the south
blowing it about
the rain pummels it's flowers
nature asserts it's power,
still the rose stands tall
though small buds may fall
it still stands by the shore
as beautiful as before
a haven for the Dove
it blooms with love
the wondrous wild rose
still blossoms and grows.
