Her

Glazed red rosy lips await my pale, swollen mouth.
Her smooth brown hair reflecting off the sunlight's heat.
Staring at her brown eyes, I see why she is so pretty.
Painting an image in my head of what she loves and feels.
Nothing seems to be the same without her reassuring me.
She lives like an angel walking upon her frozen pond.
Wondering what things she wants to do or explore.
Her love for me lives within my heart and soul.
Wishing for that day when I can see her glittered smile.
Hoping our love is like Cinderella and the enchanted prince.
Her soft red cheeks search for my embedded touch.
Having her tell me "You have changed my life", I feel joyful.
Realizing that I must be there when she is down or sullen.
The glittering star stands outside my frozen window is her in disguise.
Knowing there is something missing when I don't talk to her.
Tired eyes awake from her overwhelming, yet lovely glow.
Someday I hope I can see her at my side, walking down the aisle.

Thank you for visiting my poetry.
