I met her at a high
school dance
We felt a current flow
between us
Even though I knew we
did'nt stand a chance
She rode a caddie to school
and I rode a bus
Her father was rich and
disaproved of me
He told his daughter
I was no good
Dating was out of
question you see
We got together
when ever we could
Her dad bribed her
with a brand new car
All she had to do was
never see me
Our love died like
a fading star
I guess our true love
was never to be

Love may triumph over all.But not when your seventeen.I did get even with her.I built a great 54 ford "vicky" hot rod and took great pleasure parking next to her at the drive in.

Great write Bob!
So where is she now??
This happens so much when you're a teen, eh?
And love hurts SO much when you're young..
when you're older as well too...
but, oh dear I'm rambling....
good stuff you've been writing lately...
keep up the great work.

Paladin, in the eyes of the true beholder, you'll be a priceless gift...definitely beyond the value of numerous cars combined. *hugs*
