Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-07-31 11:20 AM

I heard your Tender Call

It resounded in silence, quietly, softly
soulfully, skillfully, rejoicing in my heart
behind closed eyes I heard soft cry
a mind meld of thoughts impart

I felt your tender call

You were there, so long ago, a heartbeat away
in keen memory your words still sway
to dance the dance of night’s long song
wherein these dreams your thoughts belong

Did I dream your tender call

Lace strewn veil o'er silent shadows soft
holding pleasant gentle of your touch
then wing me upward, swift hold me aloft
thy tender call is the voice of such

I heard your tender call

It sang soft, soulful sweet and true
as it came from the heart’s heart of you
ably it came from behind the refrain
that I would hear it, again and again

When you tenderly called my name

Very touching, and soft. Beautifully written!

Karilea..so gently and tenderly penned.
How I wish I had been here at Passions
to have known, read, and conversed with this
great writer, much revered and gentle man.
This is so lovely...

If there's a more beautiful way to say that someone is missed, I don't know what it is. *S* And yes... he is.

very nice, I especially like the same stanza as Noah chose!
