I dropped my scuffed old riggin' bag- Out there behind the chutes- Dug around and found my spurs- Then strapped them on my boots. I rosined up, and dropped my rope- Across a hairy hide... A buddy fished my rope for me- I readied for the ride... I'm on my rope and ready- And, Lord, those horns are wide... I wait until he's steady- Then I nod and cry, "Outside". Rodeo and romance, Are much alike you see... To see if you can stick or not, You pay your entry fee. Sometimes a ride will start so well- You think it's in the bank. But just before the buzzer sounds, It turns out double-rank! I've had my share of go-rounds... I've won more than a few... But the hardest fall I ever had- Was the one I took from you. Rodeo and romance- Is the only life I know... I'll guess I'll point my pick-up truck, To one more rodeo. |

Bravo!!!!!!!! This is great, especially if you love rodeos as much as I do!!! Took me back to the Pendleton Round-up in Oregon, where I saw my first rodeo, and became a fan!!! Great one here!! Open the door and let your adventure begin!!! |
