somebody's dungeon

Even now within the emptiness
that was left in your wake,
I sense your essence close to me
with each new breath I take.

I crave again your gentle touch,
your kisses on my skin.
I long to have your body
held close to mine again.

Even as the sighs escaped
as you took me to new heights,
I couldn't discharge the loneliness,
of this approaching night.

I'll wait to hear your voice again
like some school girl with a crush.
I'll wait my love, I'll wait for you
to share the lover's rush.

(sigh) Awwwwwww, such a sweet yearning fills these words, sweet friend, and may that sweet love again seek your heart and make you smile like that schoolgirl again feeling loves first kiss! (smiles) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I wrote this yesterday after my husband went back out on the road for another 5 weeks before I see him again.
