Midnight Snacking

Shhh she’s creeping around the house
She thinks she’s
Quiet as a mouse
But hear that bump as she walks there
Mind the table
Watch that chair
This is Krissy be aware one and all
That Krissy
Makes a nightly call

If there’s any chocolate going spare
She’ll eat all that
Without a care
Just don’t leave bottles lying about
Because she’ll empty
Them without a doubt
And don’t think that she’ll not take
A very large bite
From anyone’s cake

I’ve seen her swallow half a pound
Of sausages
Without a sound
Then a loaf of bread went like that
While she tried to
Blame mama’s cat
And the biscuits she’ll eat those too
And say that she
Did it for you

Don’t let her loose on a shopping trip
She’ll eat it all
Nor leave a tip
She’ll swallow the lot and look for more
While you try to
Get up off the floor
The shock of seeing her stuff her face
Has felled athletes
Who are trained to race

If it’s an eating contest Krissy will win
I wonder how
She fits in her skin
She’s getting so big that its plain
To move her
We’ll need a crane
When she jumps in the pool just beware
The water jumps out
You better take care

My sister eats her weight and more
I love her
But she’ll be sore
When she reads this rhyme she’ll chase me
To string me up
Eventually

Eternity, stands laughing at old time
for ages? In the grand ancestral line

I was thinking that Krissy would have a great exercise plan, chasing you down for revenge... but Seymour has a better idea! LOL

I enjoyed this very much, Emma... I just hope you don't need sleep anytime soon? LOL

HaHaHa....This is cute and naughty, Emma...
I especially love how she doesn't fit into her skin. Thats amazing because skin stretches to fit what is inside it, so I just can't imagine how huge she must be getting.
I hope she isn't too angry at you because she might burst and then you will have a huge mess to clean up......and you know what, Emma......
it will serve you right for writing a naughty poem like this about Krissy....
I can't wait to see what she does to get back at you.

I have no doubt Krissy will understand that it is just poetry and not to take it personally or do silly things like plotting for revenge or anything like that. Besides, how can she hurt you with a piece of chocolate cake in each hand?

It's great to see you writing. SOme of those lines were VERY clever!!!
