Lyra - they are something special aren't they? Our little granddaughter has a big brother and she can't talk yet so she fights with fists and teeth - this is just a wonderful poem and I loved it - Paul |

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I cried reading this because it is sooooooo beautiful and because you have such a golden heart and your granddaughters are so blessed to have such a loving grandma like you! (kiss on cheek) Say, if you'd like, I would love to dedicate this poem I wrote before to you and re-post it, it is called "Why God Made Little Girls"! (smiles) This is beautiful, sweet friend, God Bless You and those sweet little angels, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Thanks so much, Marie... but lately, I haven't been able to see too much of them because my immune system hasn't recovered from all of my treatments yet and kids are little germ magnets. I took Dasha...my oldest one, to her ballet recital and came down with a cold which turned into pneumonia, so now I am being more careful for a while. ~ hugs from an old chipmunk Lyra |

Thanks so much Paul.... My grandaughters aren't really above fighting with their fists either, but they do it a bit differently than my sons did... they're sneakier. ~ grandma knows everything hugs Lyra |

Thanks so much, Martie... I always wanted a little girl and never had one when I was younger and now I have been blessed with 2 daughters in law, an ex-daughter in law with whom I am still close, a stepdaughter and 3 lovely grandaughters... Isn't it amazing how things change. I guess I got my wish afterall....in spades! ~ hugs from one grandma to another Lyra copyright2002 Lyra Nesius "poetry is life distilled" Gwendolyn Brooks [This message has been edited by Madame Chipmunk (07-29-2002 12:00 AM).] |

Lyra, I would NEVER be jealous! Wow how blessed. And an awesome write. Got me right in the heart. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Well look at you! Your very own icon LOL, and look at those sweet girls, oh I want to meet them up front and personal. I too know the Gramma "thing", and I can't get enough of mine either. I can't wait for the tutu stage, you are lucky as you have so many! Wow ~ such cute chippermunks too (take after you). Cute, cute poem and adorable girls. Whoo hooo, she arrives tomorrow and it's party time! Nothing means more to me than faith, family and my friends. Proud Canadian [This message has been edited by Mysteria (07-29-2002 02:47 AM).] |

With one daughter and two ruff and tumble football playing sons, I sure can relate to this. No grandchildren yet, not even a son or daughters-in-law, but maybe one day we will have those cutie patootie grandbabies.
