Your heart demands the cease of love
built on the solidity of trust.
Your angry will demands a secret be made
of the love that engulfed an us.
But stranger still, your demands
of cold relentless fighting
determine more our path has better lighting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am not as tame as you would have me be.
I will admit to that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Never my words
silenced
hidden in the same corners
you hide truths from yourself in.
I'll not stand
nose in
hands clenched behind me
your painted picture of contrition
for something I never caused,
and finally one day
you will answer to all the dreams you are trying to destroy.
Never my words
silenced
and I am not into the art of backing down
cringing in the same hiding places
that you utilize to fool people with.
Never my words
never my silence
as long as my love speaks louder
than the hell you try to create.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trouble comes when you see a girl
and fail to see the woman shadow behind her.
You don't see me
and blindness will only make you trip.
I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.
lol..sorry..I've been doing a million and one things tonight, and I wasn't even inspired to write until someone came online and it just inspired this lil dark poem of mine. Apowagize..okies? Will get to the challenge as soon as I can. I have a harder time writing on "demand", so when I do, I want it to be good and well thought out. lol..
I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.
