Saturating all, wrath falls, its presence cold
cascading droplets graze the pain inside,
where all that shimmers brightly is not gold
depending on which storm cloud chose to ride;
empty days of purple dreams gone by-
overpowering billows dye the sky.

¤

Uneven silhouettes guide eyes to view
the constant trickle flows through veins once mean,
my entire world is draped in pitch-black-blue
where blind men walk the emptiness they’ve seen;
I cannot carry on with burdened pain-
so stumble forth with outstretched hands In vain.

¤

The sun continues cultivating rays
hoisting the soil majestically with trust,
existence peeps beyond the dusky haze
rejuvenated, love thrusts through fears crust;
softened the ground leads my travelled feet-
I bear the ache, shall not submit defeat.

¤

There yonder, stands a bridge I dare to cross
I offer all I am, and yet to be,
to realise my pain is not of loss
and all I own does not belong to me;
happiness is something you can’t find
it’s hidden in the bends within your mind.

¤

I voyaged far to seek the truth of calm
to learn that healing always starts inside,
trusting the soul will never come to harm
that loves the biggest rule we should abide;
I freefall on a rainbow sphere of peace
to sail the skies, in perfect sweet release.

SAMMIE!!
It's good to see your face/name here.
Hope you're not too busy to share more of your poetry here as well.
These folks will LOVE your work. Heck, some even like mine.

Sammie, first let me say welcome to Passions.  Within these walls are some of the best poets you will ever read, and some of the best friends you will ever make.
Second, let me say that this is a very wonderful piece of writing, and an excellent entrance to Passions.
Welcome and I know you will enjoy your days here.  Hugs to you.

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.

Welcome indeed,
this was a wonderful read
I look forward to more of your works
I must concede
I like the way a rhyme reads
and the way rhythm flows through the words
