Standing before me
a wrought iron gate.
Rusted, squeaking hinges
beckoning

The path beyond
lying within a misty veil,
shrouding tomorrow,
beckoning

Tis the path of life
down a worn road of stone
where briars line the narrow
tugging at cloth sleeves

Fear not this path
for the journey, though unknown
shall bring a sense of peace
to a weary mind

Though I walk  uncharted
I shall hold my head high
My life before me calls
‘pon sound of eagle’s cry

for e'en among the briar's vine
sits the rose trapped, entwined,
but still the smell she gives, so sweet
her petals open, to bring, compleat

the sigh from within my heavy breast
for the rose, has passed this test

Magnus darling heart ahhhhh how positively wonderful this is, the depth of feelings that you’ve wrapped and delivered in this are outstandingly good.

You know your steps upon the road to self enlightenment are as a beacon to those who fall by the wayside. I am always inspired and moved by your writing, I know we joke about how much I utterly utterly love it, but in truth you are a superb writing. Really exquisite work darling man.

Wonderful writing darling heart utterly utterly wonderful  I love it utterly
