Clear deep blue changes
into emerald green
The waves caress the snow
white beach
I walk along the shore
alone an unseen
The sea breaze carrys
a lone gull's screech
Is he lonly too and
looking for his mate?
I think I know just
how he feels today
It seems we are cursed
by the same fate
I walk alone till
someone comes my way

Gee Bob, this piece sounds
as sad as mine did last night.
Would love to see those white sandy beaches,
down there where you are...
A sense of longing in this write.

I could feel the loneliness...this reminded me of the long poetic story, The Wake of Magellan by Savatage.

I think I have walked on that beach before...with the same feeling.  Enjoyed!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Robert, I know just how you feel, sweet friend, this is indeed sad and I believe somehow every creature on the earth shares the same emotions as us and together we will get through them all! (sigh) I am a huge fan of your words, sweet friend, this is excellent, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I like the breaks in this,
paladin,
for you allow the shift
of imagery
to jerk mental pictures
in and out
of the shadowbox...

I could feel this with my soul, Bob...
the true pain of being alone...*sob*
