The Wooden Rose

captivated I still am by the

What you see is what you get. This wooden rose you see (and sitting in front of me now) was given to me by my best friend when I first started work. Since then, it had been travelling (work)places with me. ~marie@mycafe

Wonderful what you can do if you have a strong stem and just the right water.  Lovely presentation!

Ditto and ditto and ditto again. I agree with what everyone said. The poem is great, the theme is great, and the presentation is delightful :-)

How cute! I still can't design a poem by shape. Must take lots of patience.
You did an excellent job!

This is so sweet, Marie...
I love it that you actually drew the wooden rose into the poem....
thats something I can never seem to do, no matter how hard I try.  Shape poems are just beyond me...
You have done a beautiful job with this one.
