“LADIES OF A SOFTER HEART”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
I’ve been gone for awhile,
contemplating my being…
Where it’s been and why,
things good, also abhorring…
Found that things change,
emotions slowly heal, beautify…
Life goes on down the road,
highways and byways pass by…
It’s inspiring to write again,
placing words from this pen…
Onto these pages of caring,
to be read, felt, and then…
Ladies of a softer heart,
each of you that reside here…
Gracious you are, to read me,
replying with thoughts sincere…
This is a great and light-hearted poem, well written and very elegant in nature.
Bill darling heart where have you been? I’ve missed you so much, these hallowed halls are not so over-stocked with talent that when one of the premier poets isn’t around it isn’t noticed. You know I’m going to say this is excellent writing darling heart, so softly gentle your writing is always a pleasure to read. I love it utterly. Fabulous writing darling boy truly fabulous.
Been down that same road myself~
there is a lot to miss if we don't
stop and reflect on those places where we've been that ultimately lead down that winding road, taking us a little further than before.
It is so good to read you again BC~
It is very good to see you again Bill.
all through our lives we are subjected to change...
