I am through with the past
Literally yesterday can forget itself
What I was doing this hour on Sunday
I am only looking to my future now
Not my sunken past

If I yelled yesterday so what?
If I burnt your bacon I don't care
I am through with the past
I will clean the house so it looks good in the future
Not to get rid of yesterday's settled dust

I am thinking of success
Not my failure when I thought I could not kick the ball
And they would laugh
I burnt your bacon I yelled
I am only thinking of my future success

Once the future is past
Forget it
It goes in the memory box with my other trinkets
Only got out for a brief glimpse at Christmas
The silent tear, the past will never cripple me again

Nice work if you can get it
And you can get it if you try.

Roger, Welcome to Passions!  What a forceful write!  I think you're going to like it here!  Please, check your E-mail for a Special Greeting!

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Welcome to passions!

"The silent tear, the past will never cripple me again"

A very forceful write, and a very good one, as well. Much enjoyed.

Sincerely,
Titus
