The waxing gibbous Moon this early eve
seems partially submerged in pale blue sky,
her silent sultry stillness interweaves
the draw that I've to swim in rich brown eyes

Unknown to you the Moon's watched over me
whispering that in patience I abide,
you're to my heart as she is to the sea
as swelled in my emotion as her tide

While tawny, sinewed Queen Palm spine's are raised
elliptic leaves, lime fingered silhouettes,
hosannas to celestial light are praised
this Moon has shared with me Love's due kismet

Though I await the words from your lips phrased
the Moon, soon full, informs our souls have met,
through eyes of sparkling stars we Lovers gaze
intensity beyond this night's sunset

Impassioned sonatina birthed duet
bright blushing future's promised roseate.

Can't tell ya how much I wish I'd written this!  Intense and universal!

please don't change, please don't break
the only thing that seems to work at all is you

Oh sigh ~ simply beautiful that is all I can say.  The images this piece brings to mind could not be painted any better by a master.  I believe those rose-colored glasses suit you well and your ears shall hear what patience bestows on you.

Nothing means more to me than faith,
family and my friends.

Yeah...*sigh* is a good start
and ya know I am smiling at that alliteration
and the unique imagery in that 3rd verse...very cool perspective.
But its the romantic intend of this inspire that pulls the reader like the moon tide--
your oh so lovely phrasing....

Unknown to you the Moon's watched over me
whispering that in patience I abide,
you're to my heart as she is to the sea

yeah ... *sigh*

How she loves me, I dont understand
If time wont change me, perhaps she can
And I feel her trying when were apart
God dont let me break her heart
