Toerag Gets a Toe Ring Toerag was out a-wanderin’ playin’ hooky from his day job, just skippin’ along, ponderin’, stubbed a toe, which began to throb. He spied a hair and nail boutique, pedicures were their specialty, advertizin’ a sale on feet, to make them smell like potpourri. He walked right in and sat right down, displayed his callused, peeling toes, the gal looked down, began to frown, and wrinkled her delicate nose. She brought out the power sander, the turbo-charged, 220 volt; when Toerag flirted with candor, her stomach began to revolt. She buffed, sloughed, polished and hot waxed, paused and wiped the sweat from her brow, all the while, Toerag just relaxed, when she was done, she took a bow. For her troubles, Toerag tipped big, and she said, there’s just one more thing, them pretty feet did do a jig when she slipped on a silver toe ring. Now Toerag is mighty darn proud and sports his ring on new, soft feet; Balladeer and Long John were wowed, now isn’t this all just soooo sweet? Corinne |
