The jingler believes that in their innocent state of being, even mere mortals should be able to enjoy the wonders of poetry.

Poetic Insanity

In the dark corner sit the young poet
Mysterious verses filling his head
He wrote of his great fear of seaweed
How he was glad that his mother was dead

His mentation lasted for hours
Giving thought to earth and all life
He spoke of his lunar perception
And how he once cut his toe with his knife

Now mere mortals are not privy to poets
We exist on a much lower plain
While they hide in dark inner sanctums
We must remain open and sane

Now poets are read by smug critics
Who examine each stanza and line
They only win contests and money
When the poet is judged out of his mind

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Dillard, this is so very true, I couldn't agree with you more, every one has the beauty of poetry in their heart, unfortunately there is a critic for everything and in poetry I believe ones feelings can never be criticized! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Dillard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
